On average, we lose about 100 hairs a day as part of the natural cycle. During the anagen (growth) phase, new strands are especially fragile—particularly for curly or
frizz-prone textures that coil and stress the follicle. That’s why conditioning pomades, like those in Palmer’s Hair Care range, are essential. They infuse the scalp with nutrients, lock in moisture, and seal dry ends—giving your hair its best chance to grow long, strong, and healthy.

As with all of our hairdress formulas, we recommend applying them sparingly. If excess product needs to be removed, follow these steps:

1. Prepare the mixture: Combine 2 parts shampoo (formulated for oily hair/scalp) with 1 part baking soda to create a paste.

2. Apply to damp hair: Lightly dampen hair with tepid (not hot) water, then apply the mixture as you would a regular shampoo, focusing on areas with buildup.

3. Rinse thoroughly: Use tepid water to rinse. Avoid hot water, as it can cause the product to spread rather than lift away.

4. Repeat if needed: Repeat the process once more if necessary.

5. Condition: After rinsing, apply a light, balancing conditioner to restore moisture and maintain softness. Rinse again with tepid water.

· Note: It’s best to use this remedy ONLY once or twice in a day over 2–3 days, rather than multiple times in immediate succession.

Since the formula is concentrated, leaving it on overnight isn’t necessary. For a more intense treatment, cover hair with a plastic cap and leave on for up to 30 minutes. For best results, sit under a hooded dryer or steamer, or gently warm the outside of the cap with a blow dryer. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
